Application scenarios of masks

2020-07-18
N95 mask (without air valve)
Applicable scenarios: Also known as N95 respirator, a kind of respiratory protective equipment, which can effectively filter particles in the air, and is suitable for protecting respiratory diseases transmitted through the air.
Filter effect: block at least 95% of very small (about 0.3 micron level) particles.
Frequency of use: For personal use only, all damaged, deformed, wet or dirty should be discarded.
KN95 mask (with air valve)
Applicable scenarios: The masks with air valves on the market are usually industrial dust masks, and their use is basically the same as above. It allows the gas to exhale more smoothly, does not allow small particles to enter, and reduces the accumulation of heat and humidity.
Filtering effect: Same as above, blocking at least 95% of very small (about 0.3 micron level) particles.
Frequency of use: Same as above, only for personal use, damaged, deformed, wet or dirty should be discarded
Surgical mask
Applicable scenarios: It is suitable for the basic protection of medical staff or related personnel, and the protection of organizing the spread of blood, body fluids and body fluid splashes during invasive operations.
Filtering effect: The filtering effect of medical surgical masks is not exactly the same. Generally, particles of about 5 microns can be filtered. The outer layer has a water blocking layer to prevent droplets from entering; the middle layer is a filter layer.
Use times: one-time use.
Cold mask
Applicable scenarios: windshield, warmth, dust and other large particles.
Filtration effect: It can only filter larger particles, such as soot powder.
Use times: can be washed and reused.
